The Association of Lifetime Lawyers is an independent, national organisation of lawyers, such as solicitors, barristers, and legal executives who are committed to providing the highest quality of legal advice for older and vulnerable people, their families and carers.

Full professional members are those members of the legal profession that have been qualified for at least 5 years and spend at least 50% of their time advising older clients or have been qualified for 10 years and spend at least 25 % of their time doing such work. An exam must be taken if entering membership at this level.

Deborah A Wilkinson has at least twenty years experience in the legal profession, spending eleven years with large firms of solicitors in the North West. She has specialised in Equity and Trusts, Wills and Probate, Constitutional and Administrative Law, Land Law and Conveyancing Practice. Deborah qualified as a Lawyer after studying at Liverpool John Moores University.

The firm is proud to be members of Certainty, which is a register and database of Wills prepared by Lawyers and provides details of the whereabouts of Wills. She is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives (which involved six years of studying law and passing the relevant exams) and whose members are independently regulated by CILEx Regulation. Fellows are specialist Lawyers and the Institute has over 22,000 members and is recognized as the third branch of the legal profession. Deborah Wilkinson & Co Ltd. are also proud to be members of the Federation of Small Businesses.

Deborah is a member of the Association of Women Solicitors London.

Laura has recently completed five years at University studying her Law degree, Masters in Law and Legal Practice Course obtaining a distinction/first. In this time she has studied areas such as Equity and Trusts, Private Client, Property & Land Law. She has experience working in the legal world in Wills and Probate also as an Employment and Personal Injury paralegal.

Laura has spent much of her spare time volunteering for organisations such as Amnesty International and STAR (Student Action for Refugees) and spent Christmas 2019 volunteering for Care4Calais in the north of France at the migrant camps.

Outside of work Laura enjoys yoga, festivals and socialising with friends and family.

Louise Clayton hails from just over the border in Shropshire.  She is Mum to two adult daughters and a young son.  Her legal journey started in 2000 when she worked in the Personal Injury department of a local firm before progressing to Wills and Probate.  In 2008 she gained CILEX Level 6 in Probate and Succession and Probate Practice and has specialised in  Wills, Probate and Lasting Powers of Attorney. 

When not working, you may find Louise at a concert, out with her partner, family or friends or walking her dogs, Dougie and Cooper, who are challenging to say the least!

Administrative Assistant

Alex is currently studying for a degree to become a designer and creative director within the fashion industry. After living abroad to teach children English she is now focusing on improving her skills within business management. In her spare time she enjoys cycling and drawing.

Alex deals with administration including invoices and associated matters for the company.
